Christmas was really fun for us this year. This is the first year since we've been married that we've ever gone somewhere for Christmas! We knew we wanted to go somewhere but didn't know where, if we'd get the time off, or if we had the money. We wanted to go to my house in McAllen, but the airfare never went down, so we ended up doing the short drive to California to visit Wyatt's family. We went to the beach twice while we were there! :) We went to Dana Point on Christmas Eve with Sarah, Henry and little Arthur.
Wyatt tried to show Henry some of the creatures in the tidepools, but Henry was a little more interested in just throwing rocks! True boy mentality! :)
Arthur just enjoyed being snuggled by mom in the cool seabreeze!

We really enjoyed seeing our nieces and nephews that we don't get to see very often. From left to right here's Henry, Arthur, Savannah and Nathan.
I don't know what's wrong with my face, and I'm the only one not looking at the camera, but anyway, we had a really good time playing with Henry and Arthur. (and the rest of the Salo clan)
I hope someday somebody will come visit me on Christmas!
