We had a great time doing lots of activities for Easter! Nohea is still a bit young for them, but it was fun trying! We were invited to an Easter Egg hunt at the park one afternoon. Nohea didn't quite get the idea of collecting eggs, but I'm sure she will soon enough!
Nohea would get one egg then try to sit down to play with it!
She especially loved the jelly beans inside the eggs!
Here we are checking out the loot!
Nohea decided she loves Tootsie Rolls. She stuffed the whole thing in her mouth!
We also went to see the Easter bunny at the cactus gardens. Nohea surprisingly didn't scream and cry! :)
Exploring the gardens. Kind of a bad place to take a one year old. She wants to touch everything!
She was entranced by the Easter Bunny. She just kept watching him!
More exploring and "hiking".
We were brave enough to try coloring Easter eggs. It was messy, but fun!
Yummy!
We also baked Easter cookies and decorated them for the neighbors. Nohea had fun trying to use the cookie cutters, but decided she liked just eating the cookie dough instead! She would grab handfuls and stuff it in her mouth!
She looooved watching me make frosting. She would giggle every time the beaters would come on. She also loved using the measuring spoons to take a little taste.
Yum!
