So on Wednesday my sister Leah and her family drove up from Arizona for a visit! We've had a really good time!! It's been busy and tiring but really fun! We started the adventures going to Red Rock Canyon on Thursday. We did a trail called the Children's Exploration Trail and we all really enjoyed it!

Aizlin is quite the adventurer! She insists on climbing everything herself and wants absolutely no help! If her brothers can do it, so can she! It's really funny!

Even little James (the dog) got to come along!

On this trail, we actually found a petroglyph! You can't really see it I guess and it's kind of small, but it's there!

That afternoon, Leah and Aizlin needed a nap! So Matt, Wyatt and I took Kai and Ryker to Circus Circus! They loooooved the rides!! Here they are on the Frog Hop (I think that's what it was called). It takes them up in the air and does a couple of little drops. They were both pretty suprised at the first drop but then they began cracking up! It was so funny!

More fun times on rides!

On Friday, we met up with Wyatt at work at the Shark Reef. The kids really liked seeing all the fish and sharks, but I think the biggest hit was the touch pool. They were not afraid! The sting rays are really soft!
Wyatt liked teaching the kids about all the little critters!

Our next adventure came on Saturday! We went to the Secret Garden at the Mirage. It was really cool to see all the animals and they were pretty close to us!

Here's one happy tiger! He was a "senior citizen" at the Gardens. Pretty cute!

After the Secret Gardens, we went to the M&M Factory and watched a little 3D movie. Then we went to the Coca-Cola Factory next door and sampled sodas from around the world. Word to the wise, don't drink any soda called Beverly from Italy!! Nasty!!
Well, we've had such a good time visiting and playing with our niece and nephews and Leah and Matt. I got a lot of pictures, but I'll let Leah post the good ones on her blog! :)

It looks like the kids really had fun. I guess it wasn't as shocking to them that there wasn't grass as it was for me when we went to the arches in Utah as kids. And that's a pretty dopey looking tiger.
ReplyDeleteyeah, the tiger did look pretty dopey! it was cute though! i think the kids had fun. hopefully at least! :)
